Out There Interiors - French Gold Chair With Flock Pattern
This gorgeous armchair is a really good example of why I love French furniture in the home. It's a French Louis style chair from Out There Interiors. Upholstered in a "unique shimmering turquoise flock", it would look very special wherever it is placed. Now where shall I put it - in the bedroom, lounge or study? Beautiful!

Sweetpea & Willow Pink Blush French Chandelier
I must be going through a pink trend at the moment! How did I manage to find this pretty pink blush chandelier? It is there at Sweetpea & Willow. Delicately painted flowers on pink glass with clear glass droplets. For me this is the centrepiece from which the rest of the room should be decorated. What a fabulous room that would be. Full of romance and glamour!

The French Bedroom Company Lit Lit White Bed
Now here is a French bed with the "wow" factor. Absolutely stunning the way that it curves around at the top and bottom. Made from mahogany and cane and painted white, it can be found at The French Bedroom Company. I think that I would add pink accessories for Spring (to match the blossom on the trees), lavender or rose colour for the Summer, russet for Autumn and gold to warm up the Winter nights. Beautiful French style.

The Old French Mirror Company 19th Century French Painted Mirror
I imagine sitting in the chair and looking into the mirror reflecting on the day. No ordinary mirror - no ordinary day. The brides' "new " dress, pure white, decorated in intricate detail with tiny beads around the edge. Her "something old" lace handkerchief not as old as the 19th century French mirror but still meant to be kept forever in a special place. The "blue" flower specially placed in her bouquet to be pressed and kept in her wedding album and this "borrowed" photo from The Old French Mirror Company where this beautiful mirror can be found.

Jasper Jacks - Pair Of French Louis XV Style Bedside Cabinets
I have been searching for an old pair of French bedroom cabinets to write about and just look what I found at Jasper Jacks. They are distressed painted and in the style of Louis XV. An added extra is that the drawers still have the original metal handles. What a beautiful shape they are and I think will look gorgeous in any bedroom.

Appley Hoare French Antique 19th Century Side Table
Look at the style and elegance of this French 19th century side table from Appley Hoare. It is so hard to find one like this which even has the remains of the original paint. I absolutely adore the detail of the carvings and the beautifully shaped legs. This is certainly a timeless piece to treasure forever.

Sweetpea And Willow Gold Gilt Emmanuel Chaise Longue
Why is it that when you look at a chaise longue it brings on a romantic feeling? A feeling of a time gone by when everything seemed more leisurely. That certainly is the case with this gold gilt emmanuel chaise longue from Sweetpea and Willow. Made from mahogony, upholstered in green raw silk fabric and with a slightly distressed finish. A few well chosen cushions make it look really dreamy. An absolutely stunning piece of French furniture.

The French Bedroom Company - Provencal Wire Demi Armoire
As soon as you look at this photo of the Provencal Wire Demi Armoire from The French Bedroom Company, it is easy to see why armoires are so popular today. Fill it with beautiful things that can be seen through the wire door and it can look divine. For me that would be beautiful linen, throws and pillows in the bedroom or fluffy towels, scented soaps and favourite perfumes in the bathroom.

What a great find - a set of four ivory coloured boxes from La Maison Bleue. Useful for storing many things including hats, they are different sizes so will stack perfectly. Letter Tidy
Parlane Belle Fleur Letter Tidy
Just what I need to organize my letters that are waiting for attention. A wooden desk tidy decorated with a very pretty floral design. The front tray is larger than the back section and it has a lovely aged finish complete with the words "BELLE FLEUR". I think that I will put the letters in the back and keep the front clear so that I can look at the beautiful design!
