How can I let this gorgeous wallpaper pass me by?  It's the Rose Damask Paper Lace - Embossed Vinyl Wallcovering As Featured In Sex And The City 2 in Carrie's hotel boudoir. I have decided that it will be perfect in the bedroom. It has just the right colours that I have been looking for - black and silver - and up to the minute chic style. I've cleared the room of furniture and prepared the walls ready to begin the transformation. Now it would look stunning as a feature headboard but then again if I decorate the wall surrounding the fireplace it would look fabulous. What do you think I should do?

Ayers and Graces: Enormous Silver Rococo Style Mirror

This French style reproduction mirror from Ayers And Graces is so enormous that I couldn't fit it all on one page! But oh look at the part that you can see...antiqued silver gilt, wooden construction with gesso detailing and quality bevelled edge glass. At approx 98" x 74". (8ft 2" x 6ft 2" or 245cm x 185cm) and with a frame width of approx 7 inches wide and 4 inches deep, it is not for the faint hearted. But if you are looking for something a little on the big side then it certainly must be worth looking into the rest of this lovely mirror!

I have chosen these five gorgeous French chairs to highlight just some of the beautiful things that can be found at Lorfords Antiques. I was looking for just one item of French furniture to write about  but was totally spoilt for choice! Should I have chosen the 19th Century Louis XV bureau plat, the 18th Century French dropleaf farmhouse table or the brass framed French bistro mirror? But then again I do love these chairs. The trouble is that I want them all!
