I'm a great fan of white tableware. It is so easy to accessorise with different coloured napkins and a little floral decoration. These can change with the seasons or for special occasions. I once cooked a meal for some friends and used roses and lavender as the theme for the decor. The table looked stunning as we sat down to eat. I had placed a small rosebud on each napkin to complete the look. To my horror Mr 'wise guy' guest picked up the little rose, popped it in his mouth and said "delicious hors d'oeuvres"!
